Troopers Arrest One after Speeding, Arrest Responding Driver for DUI on Seward

On Sunday, as troopers with the Bureau of Highway Patrol were patrolling the Seward Highway, they observed a 2004 GMC Tahoe speeding near mile 103 of the highway at 1:40 pm. The vehicle was doing 95 miles an hour in a 55 mph zone.

After stopping the vehicle and contacting the driver, identified as 22-year-old Dylan David Fuhs, they found him to be driving with a revoked drivers license.

Fuhs was arrested for Driving with a Revoked Drivers License and Reckless Driving. Fuhs was transported to the Anchorage Jail; where he was remanded with his bail set at $1,750.

Fuhs requested someone pick up his vehicle rather than have it impounded.

One hour later,  at 2:40 pm, a 2002 Mitsubishi Montero arrived at the scene, with a driver for the Tahoe.

Troopers contacted the driver of the Montero and identified him as 23-year-old Patrick Wolverton of Anchorage. Troopers found that Wolverton was driving under the influence of alcohol.
