Troopers Arrest Wasilla Man acting Erratically at Gas Station on DUI, Drug Charges

DUI_Patrol_02After receiving a report of a man acting erratically an a gas station parking lot near Vine Road and the Parks Highway, troopers responded to the scene at 9:30 am on Tuesday.

The trooper investigation found that 35-year-old Wasilla resident Donald turner was acting erratically in his truck because he was under the influence of an impairing substance. A search of Turner’s vehicle would find it contained “multiple items of paraphernalia, marijuana, prescription pills, and heroin,” the trooper dispatch revealed.

Turner was arrested on charges of DUI, Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance IV and V. He was transported to Palmer and remanded to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility with his bail set at $1,000.
