Alaska State Troopers are investigating multiple incidences of burglary, theft and criminal mischief in the small community of Emmonak that were discovered on Monday morning.

Troopers received a report from Emmonak at 7:43 am on Monday, reporting that unknown suspects had broke into the Grant Aviation office and had stolen several items as they rummaged through the office. An investigation into the burglary was opened.

At 8:30 am, troopers were told of a break-in at the AC store that was attempted at approximately 5 am. The break-in was thwarted by the alarm that was triggered when they gained entry.

At 9:16 am, troopers would discover that the arctic entry to the Family Restaurant in Emmonak was damaged. An investigation there found that the suspect or suspects gained access through the arctic entry door, they were unable to gain access further into the interior of the business.

Six minutes later, at 9:22 am, troopers received an additional report, this one reporting the theft of a four-wheeler. The caller reported that sometime the previous evening, someone had taken their red Honda Rubicon.

Although all three incidences occurred in a relatively short period of time, it is currently unknown if the three cases are related.

Emmonak troopers are requesting that anyone with information on any of these three crimes to contact them at 907-949-1300.[xyz-ihs snippet=”Adsense-responsive”]
