Troopers Investigate Wednesday Parks Highway Road Rage Incident with Firearms

AST is investigating a “road rage” incident involving firearms that was reported by a driver on the Parks Highway early Wednesday morning.

According to the trooper report on the trooper dispatch, AST opened an investigation after receiving the call at 7:02 am on Wednesday. The investigation revealed that two drivers “were cutting each other off while southbound on the Parks Hwy approaching Hyer Road when one of the drivers took an exit and the other driver pulled alongside him,” troopers said.

When the driver pulled alongside, he pointed a firearm at the other driver and signaled him to pull over. The complainant pulled his weapon to show he was armed as well and the confrontation ended, the report revealed.

While no license plate information was reported, the vehicle of the man who first pulled a firearm, the vehicle was described as “a silver Dodge Dakota with a lift kit, large tires and a redneck sticker across the back glass of the cab,” according to the report.[xyz-ihs snippet=”Adsense-responsive”]The investigation into the incident is continuing.
