As a result of a drug trafficking investigation in St Marys, Bethel and St Marys Troopers, Bethel WAANT, and VPSOs conducted search warrant searches in St Marys.
At one residence in St Marys, Troopers arrested 23-year-old Rebecca Elia after finding and seizing six ounces of marijuana and several firearms and $11,500 in cash. Troopers suspect the cash was proceeds from drug sales. A vehicle at the residence was also seized. Elia was charged with Misconduct involving a Controlled Substance IV. Elia also had an outstanding warrant for Misconduct involving a Controlled Substance V.

39-year-old George Andrews Jr was later arrested in connection with the search warrant, he was arrested and charged with two counts of Misconduct involving a Controlled Substance IV and three counts of Misconduct involving Weapons.
While executing a search warrant in the village, 30-year-old Jared Stevens was contacted outside of the residence. Over 20 grams of Marijuana was seized from his person that was packaged for sale. Currency was also seized. Stevens admitted that the money was proceeds from Marijuana sales at $30 per baggie. Stevens was arrested and charged with Misconduct involving a Controlled Substance V.
While in St Marys, the team also executed a search warrant on another residence and contacted Dominic Winger there. He was subsequently arrested on an alcohol sale charge.
All four individuals were transported to Bethel where they were remanded to the Yukon Kuskokwim Correctional Center. Elia’s bail was set at $1,000, and Winger’s bail was set at $2,500.
