Alaska State Troopers received a report of a stolen purse at the "Top Dog," in Wasilla on Sunday just before 3 in the afternoon.
It was reported that the purse , and its contents had a value of approximately $2,500.

When troopers arrived to do their investigation, they found that one of the suspects, Mitchell Nelson, had unlawfully entered the building and had stolen the purse. It was also found during the investigation, that another suspect, Milysha Nelson had assisted Mitchell in the theft.
Prior to the troopers arrival, it was found during the investigation, the first suspect, Mitchell Nelson attempted to hide the stolen purse.
At the conclusion of the investigation, both Milysha and Mitchell Nelson were arrrested and transported to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility.
Both appeared in court on Monday afternoon. Mitchell Nelson was charged with Burglary II, Theft II, and Tampering with Physical Evidence. His bail is set at $15,000 and he was appointed a Public Defender.
Milysha Nelson was charged with an Access Device Felony Theft II, and her bail was set at $5,000. She was also appointed a Public Defender.
Both appear in court for their preliminary hearing on April 25th.
