Two Ejected in Glenn Highway Crash

trooper road accidentLate Friday night, Alaska State Troopers in Palmer responded to a crash with occupants ejected at the Glenn Highway and Palmer Fishhook Road.

When they arrived on-scene at 11:47 pm, the trooper investigation revealed while Wesley Spain was driving a 2000 Plymouth Neon on the Glenn highway, when he “lost control of his vehicle and collided with a guardrail,” according to the trooper dispatch.

23-year-old Spain and one of his occupants, 22-year-old Michael Moser, were thrown from the vehicle during the incident.

A third passenger in the vehicle reported he was wearing his seat belt and was not ejected, yet still sustained injuries.

All three were transported for treatment of their injuries. Spain was transported via Life Med to Anchorage Providence Hospital, his passengers were taken to the Mat-Su Regional Hospital. All three are reported to be in stable condition. The Plymouth Neon was a total loss. The investigation into the incident is continuing.
