Two of Three Arrested at Nikiski Burglary Scene Sunday

burglary investigationAlaska State troopers state that charges are pending against a third member of a burglar trio in Nikiski after his two partners were arrested in a burglary incident on Sunday.

It was on Sunday night at 10:14 PM, that “a 27-year old male of Nikiski called 911 reporting someone was in his parent’s residence off Island Lake Rd in Nikiski,” the trooper dispatch revealed on Friday.

When troopers responded to the Island Lake Road residence late on Sunday night and contacted 22-year-old Devern Davis and 23-year-old Justin Bachmeier, it resulted in their arrests for Burglary and Theft. A third subject fled the scene as the troopers arrived.

During their investigation at the scene, troopers would seize several grams of methamphetamine and heroin as well as a sawed off shotgun.

    I am the one that called the troopers. Justin Bachmeier was released from prison within 12 hours of this incident. Devin Davis is still in Wildwood Corrections.
