A Wasilla man spent six hours trapped in his over-turned vehicle at mile 17 of Point Mackenzie Road in Wasilla before anyone noticed the accident down the embankment on Saturday, troopers reported.
41-year-old Wasilla resident Michael Chadwick, while traveling on that road, drove off of the roadway and down an embankment, where his 1995 Ford F-150 rolled over, coming to rest on the cab, trapping Chadwick in his vehicle.
Finally, at 4:30 pm on Saturday, troopers were notified of the incident, and troopers as well as EMS responded to the scene. Once on-scene, EMS extricated Chadwick from the vehicle and transported him to the Providence Medical Center in Anchorage for what the troopers say were “serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.”
Troopers are continuing their investigation into the accident.[xyz-ihs snippet=”Adsense-responsive”]
