Wasilla Rollover Takes the Life of One

Alaska State Troopers believe that excessive speed was responsible for a Wasilla accident that took the life of a Wasilla man on Sunday afternoon.

Troopers report on the trooper dispatch that they responded to a one vehicle accident on Bogard Road and the Seward Meridian Parkway at 2:28 pm on Sunday.

When they arrived, they found that 38-year-old Justin P. Davidson has suffered very serious injuries in a rollover accident. Davidson was transported to the Mat-Su Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased.

The trooper investigation at the scene determined that Davidson was traveling westbound on Bogard Road when he drove off of the roadway. Davidson over-corrected and the vehicle subsequently rolled.

Davidson was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle.

Davidson’s next of kin were notified and the State Medical Examiner’s office in Anchorage took possession of Davidson’s remains for further investigation.
