Wasilla Traffic Stop Turns into Drugs, Stolen Vehicle Bust

A 1998 Mazda 626 was pulled over for multiple moving and equipment violations at 3:48 am on Monday morning by Alaska State Troopers the trooper dispatch reports.

The early morning traffic stop would turn into an on-scene investigation when troopers found that the driver. 36-year-old Angela Hite was in possession of heroin, Methamphetamine, prescription pain medication as well as paraphernalia related to sale and distribution.

In addition to the discovery of drugs during the traffic stop, troopers would find that the vehicle was stolen from Anchorage. The vehicle had been reported stolen from there approximately a month ago.

Hite was charged with Vehicle Theft I, Misconduct Involving a controlled Substance II, as well as three counts of Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance IV.

The suspect was transported to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and remanded there with her bail set at $10,000 and a Court Approved Third Party Custodian.
