The man involved in a car/motorcycle accident on Sunday on Trunk Road has died of his injuries.
53-year-old Anchorage resident, Charles Henson died at 4:13 pm at Providence Hospital in Anchorage on Tuesday.

Henson was involved in a head-on collision on Trunk Road just North of the Palmer-Wasilla Highway late Sunday. He lost control of his motorcycle when negotiating a turn on the road traveling northbound and collided with a Suzuki Sedan that was headed southbound. Although the Suzuki was at near a dead-stop on the road when the collision occurred, Henson suffered severe head injuries in the accident.
Henson was transported to Anchorage for treatment of his injuries by air ambulance.
Henson was not wearing a helmet.
