(ANCHORAGE, Alaska) – The Alaska State Troopers completed its special DUI overtime enforcement patrols for the Halloween weekend.
From the time period of October 28 – thru Nov. 1 Troopers contacts included:
– 9 misdemeanor DUI arrests, 0 felony DUI Arrests
– 8 drivers charged with driving with a suspended or revoked license.
– 34 REDDIs reported with 8 drivers contacted and ultimately determined not to be DUI
– 33 damage only crashes 3 injury crashes and 0 fatal collision were investigated by troopers
– Of the 337 citations issued, 127 were issued for speeding and 14 issued for seatbelt or other occupant restraint violations
Troopers encourage everyone to Report Every Dangerous Driver Immediately by calling 9-1-1.
