At approximately 7:18 pm on Saturday Alaska State Troopers responded to North Nelchina Drive in Palmer for the report of a vehicle collision with a motorcycle with the driver of the motorcycle trapped beneath the vehicle.

Authorities would arrive to find a six-year-old boy injured in the accident. He was promptly transported by EMS helicopter to Providence Hospital in Anchorage to be treated for his injuries.
The driver of the 2003 Chevy truck , 52-year-old Wasilla resident, Dale Jaskuloski, was uninjured in the collision.
The investigation at the scene would reveal that the six-year-old boy was riding his child-size 50cc Honda motorcycle in his driveway and entered into the street in front of his home directly in the path of the pickup truck.
Troopers report the child was wearing his helmet at the time of the accident.
Both vehicles received minor damage and were able to be driven from the scene.
