An expired vehicle led troopers to a wanted fugitive with an extraditable warrant out of Texas on Tuesday, the trooper dispatch reported.
At 3:09 pm on Tuesday, troopers pulled over a teal Toyota Corolla near mile 74 of the Parks Highway because the vehicle was displaying expired tags, troopers revealed. After pulling the vehicle over, troopers contacted the occupants of the vehicle and found that a passenger in the vehicle, 31-year-old Brandi Munoz, of Talkeetna, had a “Governor’s Warrant for failure to appear to arraignment for an extraditable warrant from Texas,” the trooper dispatch reported.
As a result, Munoz was arrested and transported to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility in Palmer, where she was remanded with no bail set.[xyz-ihs snippet=”Adsense-responsive”]
