A Nikiski man was arrested on five outstanding warrants during a traffic stop at mile 27 of the Kenai Spur Highway on Thursday afternoon the trooper dispatch reported.

24-year-old Kristopher James Bayes was found to have five warrants for his arrest during a traffic stop at 12:3o pm on Thursday. The trooper investigation at the scene found that Bayes was wanted on four warrants for Failure to Comply with Conditions of Release as well as one warrant for Failure to Appear for Sentencing on the original charge of Vehicle Theft I.

Bayes was transported to Kenai where he was remanded to the Wildwood Pretrial Facility where his bail was set at $3,500 and a Court-Approved Third Party Custodian.[xyz-ihs snippet=”Adsense-responsive”]
