Alaska State Troopers say a Ketchikan man is in jail on charges of Arson II, Assault III (DV), and Reckless Driving after receiving numerous 911 calls on SUnday afternoon.
Troopers responded to a residence on Heron Lane to investigate disturbance calls in regards to a home there.
Ketchikan-based troopers conducted an investigation there and the investigation revealed that 28-year-old Jonathan Hamilton had attempted to burn down his house earlier that day.
Troopers would also determine from witnesses that Hamilton also recklessly drove towards a family member at a high rate of speed in his motor vehicle.
Troopers arrested Hamilton, transported him to the Ketchikan Correctional Center, where he was remanded with no bail set.
