An early morning report of a stolen vehicle in the roadway resulted in the arrest of two Fairbanks men on Friday morning troopers say.

At 3:16 am on Friday morning, troopers responded to a report of a stolen vehicle and contacted two Fairbanks men, 31-year-old Darren Edwin and 31-year-old George Eldred.

Following contact, the trooper investigation led to the arrest of both men according to the trooper dispatch. 

Edwin was arrested on charges of Vehicle Theft I and Driving with License Revoked, while Eldred was arrested for Criminal Mischief V.

Both suspects were transported and remanded to the Fairbanks Correctional Center.[xyz-ihs snippet=”Adsense-responsive”]
